The MultiChrs application helps you to enter characters that are not available on the keyboard; for example accented characters or special symbols.
To start MultiChars, double-click on its icon. The icon will appear on the
icon bar. Click on this icon and all three characters windows will appear.
Character sets covered in this version are French, Welsh, German, and a Common character set
If you do not wish for all windows to be open at once, click 'Menu' on the
icon bar icon and select the Configure option. A window will appear
offering you the chance to select a default character set. Click on OK when you have chosen your window.
To enter a character, position the mouse pointer over it and click SELECT. The character will be entered at the caret position as if it had been typed.
The Icon Bar Menu

There are 5 options on the icon bar menu and these are explained below :-
Info : This leads you to an information window containing the name
of the program, my name and the version number. Always make
sure you are using the latest version.
Languages : This option leads you to a sub-menu where you are shown a
list of languages. Select the language you want by clicking
select over the word and hey presto the character window
for that language will appear.
Show All : This option allows you to show all the windows and not just
the charcater set you have chosen.
Quit : Quits the program and removes it from memory.
